Export:

  1. Launch Google Chrome
  2. Open the Settings Menu (located to the right of the address bar)
  3. Choose "Bookmarks" and then choose "Bookmark Manager"
  4. Click "Organize" and choose "Export bookmarks to HTML file"
  5. Choose a location to save the bookmarks file, click Save.
    • Note: Make sure you save the file in a safe place such as your home directory (H:) or a flash drive.
    • Note: I recommend adding "chrome" to the end of the file name so you can identify the fact that these are the bookmarks from Chrome later on.
  6. Verify the file is in the location you saved it.  Because it is an HTML file, you can open it and make sure your bookmarks are all in the file.

Import:

  1. Launch Google Chrome
  2. Open the Settings Menu (located to the right of the address bar)
  3. Choose "Bookmarks" and then choose "Bookmark Manager"
  4. Click "Organize" and choose "Import bookmarks from HTML file"
  5. Browse to and select the file you saved in the export and click Open.
  6. You should now see your Bookmarks under one of the folders on the left.
